GoFundMe has shut down three or more attempts to set up a legal defense fund for Kyle Rittenhouse, who has been charged with first-degree murder after shooting three people in Kenosha, Wisconsin, after each effort received large sums of donations quickly from a supportive public.

Many people online, who have seen the video footage of Kyle firing three shots at advancing members of a violent mob who tried to kick him in the head, brain him with a skateboard and point a pistol at him, feel the chance is that Kyle is innocent by way of self-defense and would like to contribute to a legal defense fund.

So many videos have circulated online showing leftist aggression towards defenders that this latest video fits the well-established pattern. It is also part of the pattern we see with innocent people like Mark and Patricia McCloskey who have been charged with felonies for holding guns to defend their property from the violent mobs being backed by Democrat-controlled cities, courts, and police departments.

And there is the case of Steven Ray Baca, who was charged for shooting a rioter in New Mexico near the monument for conquistador Don Juan de OƱate, and the charges were later dropped because it was shown to be self-defense on videos.

In fact, we have watched liberal District Attorneys and the media get it wrong again and again on the high profile cases of Trayvon Martin, the Duke Lacrosse Team, Mike Brown, Covington High School, etc.

The Americans who want to donate to help Kyle Rittenhouse afford top notch legal representation and get a fair trial have every right to organize and contribute, and GoFundMe needs to explain why that is not being allowed when funds are allowed for felons, criminals, and fugitives.

GoFundMe has no problem with people raising more than 1.5 million dollars on the platform for the medical bills and family of Jacob Blake who was shot in the back by Kenosha police as he resisted police arresting him for sexual assault charges and entered his car where he may have had a gun.

Is this yet another example of left-wing bias by Silicon Valley companies censoring and abusing those who oppose their political agendas? Should Kyle Rittenhouse be added to the growing list of Americans whose civil rights are being violated by big tech?
