‘Palestinian demonstrators have marched on the Israeli Knesset in protest to the death of a Bedouin villager killed by Israeli forces during a demolition raid in the village of Umm al-Hayran.
During the Monday protests held in East Jerusalem al-Quds, the demonstrators demanded the release of the body of Yaqoub Mousa Abu al-Qian, who was killed last Wednesday.
Israelis claimed Qian rammed Israeli officers with his vehicle and left an officer dead, but witnesses described the Israeli narrative as being fabricated.
The protesters also censured the recent destruction of Palestinian homes and Tel Aviv’s approval of the construction of hundreds of new Israeli settler units in East Jerusalem al-Quds.’
