Time and again I’ve stressed America’s political system is too debauched
to fix - fantasy democracy, not the real thing, a money-controlled
one-party state with two right wings, exclusively serving the nation’s
privileged few at the expense of equitable and just governance.
Power brokers decide things. Voters have no say whatever. Election
rigging is commonplace, existing from the republic’s early days - today
achieved with electronic ease, voter roll stripping and other dirty
tricks.
Before campaigning began last year, Hillary was anointed Obama’s
successor. The race for the White House ended before it began - events
along the way meaningless theater, the uninformed, indifferent public
none the wiser.
Deplorable one-sided scoundrel media support for Hillary over Trump
exceeds anything seen before in fourth estate political reporting -
diabolical partisanship featured over legitimate journalism.
So-called presidential debates (sic) are pre-scripted, well-rehearsed theater without substance - proved again Sunday night.
Things went as expected, a deplorable display, what’s customary when
spectacle replaces Socratic dialogue, involving opposing sides asking
and answering questions - airing views, challenging beliefs, stimulating
critical thinking, seeking important truths, reaching conclusions
through free and open give-and-take.
Trump and Hillary met for the second of their three face-to-face
encounters. Both are the most widely reviled presidential aspirants in
US history. Why was in plain sight for viewers to see like so many times
before.
The entire spectacle featured mudslinging rants without substance, each
aspirant vying for who’s more loathsome, disreputable, offensive and
dishonorable.
Anyone aware of her public record knows Hillary is far more ruthless and
dangerous - part of America’s neocon lunatic fringe, a woman morally,
ethically, legally and emotionally compromised beyond redemption.
Both aspirants proved long ago they’re unfit to serve, highlighted again
Sunday night. Usually I advise voting independent or staying home.
This year is different. I’ve explained before Trump didn’t get super-rich by being a good guy. He’s no paragon of virtue.
His one redeeming feature is important. He’s not Hillary - the most ruthlessly dangerous presidential aspirant in US history.
Trump would rather exploit planet earth for profit than destroy it. Hillary’s ascension to power risks unthinkable nuclear war.
Most disturbing is how few Americans understand the most critical issue
of our time - reckless US Hillary-led neocon leadership heading things
into an abyss of no return when she succeeds Obama as now planned.
