Bipartisan Neocons Infesting Washington Want War on Russia
by Stephen Lendman
Hillary is their choice to succeed Obama for good reason. They want WW
III. She’s lunatic enough to launch it, given her rage for US dominion
over planet earth - even at the risk of destroying it.
Chances for a preemptive US nuclear first-strike on Russia is too great a
threat to tolerate - putting humanity’s fate up for grabs like never
before.
Letting her become commander-in-chief of America’s military with her finger on the nuclear trigger is madness.
Yet that’s where things seem headed, given her scandalously one-sided
scoundrel media support while relentlessly bashing Trump no matter what
he says or doesn’t say, at times inventing stuff to vilify him.
He’s no paragon of virtue. He didn’t become a billionaire by being a
good guy. Some of his campaign pledges are way over-the-top, others
sensible. All politicians and wanna-be ones lie, so there’s no telling
what he’d do as president other than at least largely continue dirty
business as usual.
Yet what other Republican or Democrat would dare say US foreign policy
“produced only turmoil and suffering and death…The price of wars in Iraq
and Afghanistan will total approximately $6 trillion.” He did.
“We could have rebuilt our country over and over and over again,” he
added. “Yet after all this money was spend and lives lost, Clinton’s
policies as secretary of state left the Middle East in more disarray
than ever before, not even close” - meaning her involvement in and
responsibility for raping and destroying Libya and Syria, along with
toppling foreign leaders and supporting Israeli slow-motion genocide
against millions of defenseless Palestinians.
“Had we done nothing, we would have been in a far better position,” said Trump. “Sometimes
it seemed like there wasn't a country in the Middle East that Hillary
Clinton didn't want to invade, intervene in, or topple.”
“She is trigger-happy and very
unstable, whether we like it or not. That's what's going on.” The cold,
hard truth is Trump’s right.
It takes a giant leap of faith to
believe he’d govern responsibly, but at least, as president, he’ll
likely save humanity from the scourge of WW III, nuclear war - more than
enough reason to hope he, not she, succeeds Obama.
He’s been laying the groundwork for
Hillary to escalate his reckless policies against Russia, China and Iran
- planting America’s military footprint near their territory where it
doesn’t belong, provocatively risking belligerent confrontation sure to
come the way things are heading.
Intentionally or otherwise, events can
unfold ahead leading to unthinkable nuclear war - America fully
responsible for what the rest of the world dreads.
Post-9/11 US provocations against
Russia (China, Iran and other sovereign independent countries) are too
numerous to recount or remember.
They pile on with disturbing
regularity, the latest incident involving US spy planes approaching
Russian territory with their transponders off, trying to avoid
detection, clearly a hostile act.
According to Russian Defense Ministry
spokesman General Igor Konashenkov, “(o)n September 7, the US P-8
Poseidon surveillance airplanes tried to approach the Russian border
twice…with their transponders off.”
Russian SU-27 warplanes intercepted
them, acting “in strict accordance with international flight rules.”
Unnamed US War Department officials lied, claiming Pentagon aircraft
were on a “regular (Black Sea) patrol - wrongfully accusing Russia of
acting in an “unsafe and unprofessional” manner.
What right has America to
provocatively fly spy planes or any other military ones close to Russian
territory where they don’t belong - or provocatively deploy US warships
the same way.
Imagine Washington’s response if
Russia did the same thing close to or in US waters or airspace.
Screaming accusations and scoundrel media headlines would follow.
One day, a reckless US provocation or
other lunatic act looks certain to instigate war, neocons in Washington
fully responsible for belligerence gone mad - risking the end of life on
earth, attempting to achieve unattainable goals.
