False Flag Formula Unfolds in Belgium

1. Country steps out of line (recognition of Palestine, labeling oranges from Israel, you name it).
2. Spectacular terrorist attack (metro, market, emblematic edifice, etc) kills and maims bystanders.
3. Israeli officialdom express condolences and solidarity (“we know how you feel and now you know how we feel”). Israeli public tweets satisfaction (“the anti-semitic Europeans who exterminated the legendary 6 million Jews got their comeuppance”).
4. Patsies (necessarily Muslim) are caught and found to have been on some watch list, hence, negligence of the intelligence apparatus, hence stricter surveillance is badly needed.
5. Public is roused to demonstrate and express identification with the Charlie du jour (“We are Brussels” now until the next one), while deepening its “understanding” of the Islam menace.

Paris drapes the Eiffel Tower in the Belgian flag and Manuel Valls declares “We are at war!.”
And the wars continue.
