‘A former Liberal Democrat MP yesterday emphatically denied claims he repeatedly raped a child in woods as part of a VIP paedophile ring.
Esther Baker, 32, waived her right to anonymity last week to allege the politician was in a group whose influential members routinely abused young girls at the Cannock Chase beauty spot in Staffordshire as police officers in uniform stood guard.
Yesterday the high-profile Lib-Dem furiously denied the allegations and suggested he could be the victim of a conspiracy to pervert the course of justice.’
