"You're all homophobes!"

On Wednesday April 29 Kathleen Wynne met with parents
concerned with the age inappropriateness of the highly graphic newly
revised sex ed. curriculum. Rather than come to any compromise Kathleen
Wynne blatantly refused any changes to the new curriculum. She told
reporters after the meeting with the parents:
“I think in some case we are going to have to agree to disagree…”
Wynne continues to voice her paranoia that Conservative factions are involved in spite of the fact that a large majority of the parents are in fact from her riding. They are parents who had voted for her to be sitting where she is today. To represent them. Now she is telling them to sit tight because she knows how to raise their kids better than they do, and she doesn’t care what they think of that. She has also resorted to calling them homophobes, even though they all knew she was gay when they elected her. What happened to elected by the people for the people?
The Education Minister Liz Sandals, who admitted to not even have read the curriculum before she signed it, and Premier Wynne continue to argue to the mass media that the curriculum is simply teaching kids about their bodies. They don’t want to get into the details the parents are concerned about like the fact that six-year-olds will be taught in-depth about genital organs (penis,testicles, vulva, vagina-with pictures). What six-year-old needs to know about vulvas? They also don’t want to talk about teacher prompts like,
“Exploring one’s body by touching or masturbation is something many people do and find pleasurable. It is common and not harmful and one way about learning about your body”
No sensible parent would want a teacher talking to their twelve-year-old child about “pleasuring themselves”. No sensible parent would want a teacher talking about anal and oral sex with their grade seven kids either. But the Premier has made it clear that she doesn’t care what the people of Ontario want.
One parent complained that although the school needs permission from the parents when kids buy a slice of pizza they will have a free reign to talk about things like anal sex and masturbation with those same kids. Where’s the sense in that? Go figure.
Just the fact that convicted pedophile Ben Levin was involved with the process of the curriculum’s development should be enough to trash it. Premier Wynne continues to deny his role, however the emails proving otherwise have been circulating on-line for everyone to see. It makes you wonder just what the motivation is behind the Premier’s insistence to implement this curriculum.
Thousands of parents have a message for the Premier;
"We Say No Premier, we will have to disagree to agree with you and this perverse sex-ed! We are currently working on community home schools in cities across Ontario so between now and summer please expect thousands of de-registrations from public schools. We apologize to schools and staff in this regard, however we feel our children will be exploited and endangered by Ben Levin's ideology and this curriculum"
