(RINF) – Former BBC presenter, member
of the British establishment and convicted paedophile, Rolf Harris, is
facing a slew of new charges following a ‘full file’ of fresh evidence
had been presented to the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS).The new allegations are from victims in Britain, Australia and New Zealand.
A spokesman for the CPS confirmed the reports saying:
“The CPS has received a full file of evidence following the interview under caution of an 85-year-old man on 3 and 4 February at a police station in Stafford in relation to Operation Yewtree. A decision will be made in due course.”On the 30th of June 2014 the children’s TV presenter was sentenced to 5 years in prison after he was found guilty of indecently assaulting 12 girls, as young as 7 years old. Over 150 complaints were originally made against the sexual predator.
Passing the lenient sentence, Justice Sweeney said:
