Press
TV has conducted an interview with Mark Weber, the director of the
Institute for Historical Review in California, to get his take on the
latest developments regarding Iran’s nuclear talks with six other
countries.Referring to a potential agreement between Iran and its negotiating partners, Weber said this will not be an agreement with Israel, and it is “simply ridiculous” for other sides not involved in the talks to make demands.
He referred to a demand by US Republicans for any deal between Iran and the P5+1 to include the recognition of Israel by Iran, a demand first made by Israeli Premier Benjamin Netanyahu, and said the Republicans do not insist on the recognition of Israel by any other country as a condition for close or normal relations, including by Saudi Arabia, which is considered a close ally of the United States.
Weber says Israel is not recognized by many countries around the world, including many countries that have close relations with the US.
