“Do as I say, not as I do.” This should be Israel’s national motto. This arrogant mentality makes itself painfully and dangerously evident in regards to the Jewish state’s very real nuclear weapons program. The raw hypocrisy that Israel practices which is most dangerous to everyone on our planet is its demand that no nation in the Middle East is permitted to have nuclear weapons
– except for Israel. While Israeli PM Netanyahu throws temper-tantrums over the nuclear agreement between Iran and the P5+1 group of nations, Israel continues to build its own destructive nuclear stockpile.
This hypocrisy regarding Israel’s nuclear weapons program and the WMD it produces has infected the US as well. For example, a key “reason” the US politicians wanted to start a war with Iraq was because they falsely claimed Iraq was building nuclear weapons. Why would they turn a blind-eye to Israel’s nuclear weapons while starting an actual war over another Middle Eastern nation’s nuclear program? (The answer, of course, is the war against Iraq was in reality launched for Israel’s benefit.)
The big baby Bibi Netanyahu is not only throwing a temper-tantrum over the nuclear agreement with Iran, he is working with Israel’s stooges in the US Congress to subvert the agreement and to push the US into another war for the Jewish state’s benefit. US politicians from both parties who are deep in the pockets of the overly powerful Israel lobby are trying to put a bill through Congress that would destroy the nuclear agreement with Iran. Democrat Senator Chuck Schumer, who is going to be the leading Democrat in Congress when Harry Reid leaves the Senate, is also working to derail the nuclear agreement with Iran. (Schumer is a Jew who is so delusional he believes he is chosen by God to be Israel’s defender in the US Senate!) If they are successful, another religious war for Israel will be fought by American troops and paid for by American tax payers.
Without its lobby, Israel would probably not have nuclear WMD. US President John F. Kennedy stood up to Israel and its lobby. He was aware of the danger the Israel lobby was to America and the danger a nuclear armed Israel would be (and now is) to the world. As Laurent Guyénot points out:
In May 1963, the U.S. Senate Committee on Foreign Relations opened an investigation into the covert activities of foreign agents on U.S. soil, focusing in particular on the American Zionist Council and the Jewish Agency for Israel. The investigation was prompted by a report from the Chairman of that standing Committee, Senator J. William Fulbright, written in March 1961 (declassified in 2010), stating: “In recent years there has been an increasing number of incidents involving attempts by foreign governments, or their agents, to influence the conduct of American foreign policy by techniques outside normal diplomatic channels.” By covert activities, including “within the United States and elsewhere,” Fulbright was referring to the 1953 “Lavon Affair”, where a group of Egyptian Jews was recruited by Israel to carry out bomb attacks against British targets, which were to be blamed on the Muslim Brotherhood so as to discredit Nasser in the eyes of the British and Americans.President Kennedy and his younger brother Robert F. Kennedy, who was then US Attorney General, were alarmed by the committee’s findings and took action to force the American Zionist Council to register as an agent of a foreign government so it could be closely monitored and prevented from undermining US democracy.
The efforts by the Kennedy brothers were strongly resisted by the American Zionist Council because they would have all of their actions open before the American public (and world public). The AZC knew that if Americans knew what they were doing to promote Israel over America and over all the world the Zionists would be stopped in their tracks. (An outstanding and important site that does put Israel and its operatives in the US on public display is If Americans Knew.)
President Kennedy also strongly opposed Israel’s efforts to get a nuclear bomb. He wanted Israel’s nuclear program at Dimona to be regularly inspected by US scientists to be certain the Jewish state never developed a nuclear weapon as this letter written on July 4, 1963 from President Kennedy to Israeli PM Eshkol makes very clear.
Virtually all opposition to Israel’s lobby and nuclear WMD program stopped on November 22, 1963 when America’s President John Kennedy was brutally assassinated in Dallas, Texas. The Jewish hero Mordechai Vanunu, the man who exposed Israel’s nuclear weapons program to the world and who paid, and is still paying, a very heavy price for doing what is right, believes Israel is a key element in the assassination of President Kennedy. (The official story of Lee Harvey Oswald being the lone assassin is deeply flawed for many reasons. A key reason it doesn’t hold water is that the CIA admitted Oswald had worked for the CIA in a letter dated March 3, 1964 from CIA Director John McCone to the Chief of the US Secret Service, James Rowley.)
President Kennedy had a strong appreciation and grasp of history. He almost certainly was aware of the Deist George Washington’s warning to Americans about giving preferential treatment to any foreign nation. George Washington said in his Farewell Address of 1796:
In the execution of such a plan, nothing is more essential than that permanent, inveterate antipathies against particular nations, and passionate attachments for others, should be excluded; and that, in place of them, just and amicable feelings towards all should be cultivated. The nation which indulges towards another a habitual hatred or a habitual fondness is in some degree a slave. It is a slave to its animosity or to its affection, either of which is sufficient to lead it astray from its duty and its interest. Antipathy in one nation against another disposes each more readily to offer insult and injury, to lay hold of slight causes of umbrage, and to be haughty and intractable, when accidental or trifling occasions of dispute occur. Hence, frequent collisions, obstinate, envenomed, and bloody contests. The nation, prompted by ill-will and resentment, sometimes impels to war the government, contrary to the best calculations of policy. The government sometimes participates in the national propensity, and adopts through passion what reason would reject; at other times it makes the animosity of the nation subservient to projects of hostility instigated by pride, ambition, and other sinister and pernicious motives. The peace often, sometimes perhaps the liberty, of nations, has been the victim. It’s often difficult to tell if things are really as they seem. If Barrack Obama is on the level with this nuclear agreement with Iran, I salute him. I hope the Hebrew Bible/Old Testament based neocons and their allies in Israel and the Israel lobby fail in their attempts to destroy the agreement and move the US and the world closer to another war for the Jewish state’s benefit. Holding Israel to the same standards the world is holding Iran to regarding Israel’s nuclear weapons program should be embraced and promoted by the US and the world.
So likewise, a passionate attachment of one nation for another produces a variety of evils. Sympathy for the favorite nation, facilitating the illusion of an imaginary common interest in cases where no real common interest exists, and infusing into one the enmities of the other, betrays the former into a participation in the quarrels and wars of the latter without adequate inducement or justification. It leads also to concessions to the favorite nation of privileges denied to others which is apt doubly to injure the nation making the concessions; by unnecessarily parting with what ought to have been retained, and by exciting jealousy, ill-will, and a disposition to retaliate, in the parties from whom equal privileges are withheld. And it gives to ambitious, corrupted, or deluded citizens (who devote themselves to the favorite nation), facility to betray or sacrifice the interests of their own country, without odium, sometimes even with popularity; gilding, with the appearances of a virtuous sense of obligation, a commendable deference for public opinion, or a laudable zeal for public good, the base or foolish compliances of ambition, corruption, or infatuation.
