Dr. Kevin Barrett Responds To ADL 'Anti-Semitic' Hebdo Smears

On January 7, 2015, Dr. Kevin Barrett published an article titled Paris "Charlie Hebdo" attack": another Zionist false flag? [Also posted at Veterans Today.]
As usual, the so-called 'Anti-Defamation League' went crazy and began the smear campaign:
Anti-Semitic Conspiracies Continue In Aftermath Of Paris Attacks
"On January 14, in an article in the Nation of Islam's The Final Call, Assistant Editor Ashahed Muhammad cited a piece by Kevin Barrett titled "Paris Charlie Hebdo Attack: Another Zionist False Flag?" and Paul Craig Roberts to claim that events in France could have been a false flag operation."
Anti-Semitic Conspiracies Predictably Surface After Paris Attacks (1/9/15)
"Kevin Barrett, an anti-Semitic conspiracy theorist and frequent contributor to Iran's English language propaganda news network, Press TV, wrote an article in Veterans Today titled "Paris 'Charlie Hebdo Attack': Another Zionist False Flag?" In the article Barrett describes the attack as Zionist "orchestrated" retribution for French foreign policy on Israel and the Palestinians. Barrett also implies that Israel is behind "Malaysian planes…falling out of the sky" as punishment for Malaysian foreign policy on Israel, and that the 2011 attacks in Norway that killed 77 people were perpetrated by Israel against Norway's Labor Party for its policies on Israel."
The ADL also mentioned Mark Glenn and Dr. Paul Craig Roberts. They have an entire section on Kevin Barrett!. Asked for comment on this matter, Dr. Barrett replied "I am proud to have been singled out by the ADL not just once, but twice in the same week for my articles and broadcasts about the Charlie Hebdo false flag shooting. Those articles reached an audience in the millions, which probably explains why I was accorded this honor. The ADL has now attacked me seven times during the past four years, and three times in the past four months, which means I must be doing something right.
"At the Tehran New Horizons Conference last September, when the news broke that the ADL had attacked the conference, participants excitedly speculated about who would have the honor of being singled out by name. Ken O'Keefe, Wayne Madsen, Art Olivier and I practically jumped up on the dinner table and started cheering when we learned that we had been named in the ADL hit piece. Others expressed disappointment that they had been left out.
"Today, being attacked by the ADL – one of the most important propaganda units of the Israeli Mossad – is widely viewed as an honor somewhere between winning a Pulitizer and Nobel Prize. I wonder if Abe Foxman would pay for my travel to their convention to make an acceptance speech?"

Dr. Barrett discussed the Hebdo and his articles with Dr. Jim Fetzer in their weekly broadcast, here:

  1. Your coverage really is antisemitic because I looked up the word on the ADL site . the definition includes anything TRUE or false that would cause people to not like them. Most people think it means anti-Jewish which I'm not.
