Hamas declares end to ceasefire as talks reach no deal - reports

Hamas has said it will not extend the ceasefire beyond 5am Friday, Al Arabiya reported. Earlier, a source told Reuters that the deal hasn’t been reached in the Egyptian-mediated negotiations on ceasefire, an hour before the 72-hour truce ended. "Negotiations are difficult. Negotiations have not yet reached a final result," said the delegate, speaking on condition of anonymity. "A rejection of extending the truce is likely. That announcement will come from our brothers in Gaza," he added. It comes after Israel accused Hamas of firing two rockets into the Israeli territory before dawn, hours before the truce ended. Hamas denied it.
