The death toll from the Israeli war on the besieged Gaza Strip has reached over 1,260.
At least 6,000 Palestinians have also been wounded since Israel started its military strikes on July 8.
The United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund (UNICEF) recently said that 239 children have been killed so far in three weeks of missile strikes and artillery shelling against the Gaza Strip.
The fatalities included 157 boys and 82 girls, all aged between three months and 17 years. According to the UN body, there were 166 children aged 12 or younger among the children killed.
The Ezzedine al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian resistance movement Hamas, has been launching retaliatory attacks against Israel. Warning sirens have sounded in Tel Aviv, Yavne, Gadara, Ashkelon, Ashdod, among other places.
Meanwhile, anti-Israel protests have been held around the world as the Tel Aviv regime continues its deadly assaults on the besieged Gaza Strip.
