Jews should abandon Corbyn's Labour Party over anti-Semitism, leading Rabbi Baroness Neuberger says
'Jews should abandon the Labour Party because of continued problems with anti-Semitism, a leading Rabbi has warned.
Baroness Julia Neuberger said she could 'understand' why Jewish members wanted to stick with Jeremy Corbyn's party to fight the problem.
But she said there was a point at which Jews would have to accept there was no hope of stamping it out.
Mr Corbyn has been repeatedly condemned for failing to root out anti-Semitism among activists.
He was personally criticised after it emerged he had endorsed an anti-Semitic mural on Facebook - an incident highlighted by Baroness Neuberger.
Speaking at the Bank of England's 'One Bank Flagship Seminar' yesterday, the Baroness said: 'Others are saying they're in there and staying to fight it. I understand that, but at the moment they're not winning.
'I think there's a point where you're not winning where you have to say 'forgive me' and leave.'
She added she hoped the antisemitism row would stop Labour getting elected.'
