A Greek bank forgives debts of their poorest customers

ATHENS The Piraeus Bank today was the first Greek financial institution to take a step to alleviate the plight of the needy clients to write off the debts below 20,000 euros for all people who have benefited from the aid program of the government.
In a statement, Piraeus Bank said that removes 100% of the total debt of up to 20,000 euros for all consumer loans and credit cards.
